
Quality control technician wanted
The main tasks consist of:
Join a dynamic team that works in conjunction with the production team;
Work closely with representatives of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency;
Maintain and ensure compliance with the quality assurance program according to HACCP standards and procedures;
Contribute to the review of certain processes and ways of doing things and deploy new mechanisms, with a view to continuous improvement;
Target and analyze the causes of non-compliance and take action to resolve them;
Sampling to ensure product quality and compliance with regulations and standards;
Carry out monitoring and audits of files and on-site quality in the various departments;
Participate in employee training, certain awareness-raising and communication actions;
Participate in internal and external audits;
Carry out several other related and varied tasks.
What we are looking for:
A motivated, hard-working and dynamic person;
Holding a college diploma in food process and quality technology;
Knowledge and mastery of HACCP and SQF standards, BRC if applicable;
Possessing relevant experience in similar jobs (food processing and quality control environment, an asset);
Possessing a good command of the French language, both spoken and written;
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software.
